COMMUNITY EVENT - EVERYONE IS INVITED TO HELP!
Join us for a fun-filled and purposeful event as we package 10,000 meals (or more if we exceed our fundraising goal). The meals will then be shipped across the globe to feed people suffering from food insecurity.
Our event facilitator is Rise Against Hunger, a well-known and well-respected global charity which specializes in facilitating these kinds of events.
Working together, we’ll be helping to make a significant difference in the lives of families who - without our assistance - might not otherwise survive.
No experience is necessary to volunteer - our facilitator will provide all the training we need for the each of the easy steps required to package the meals and prepare them for shipment.
Quite a number of people from within our greater community have already participated in one of these events. They report that it was a lot of fun, and also personally fulfilling knowing that we’re helping others and making a difference.
Pre-registration is required so that we know how many volunteers to expect. Donations are also accepted via a secure registration portal, which is provided by Rise Against Hunger. In order to purchase, package, and ship 10,000 meals, we have committed to raise $4,600, which covers all costs.

This event is the result of a joint effort of Blessings and Bargains Thrift Shop, First Church, and Faith Church and Preschool. Everyone from the greater Boynton Beach community is invited to help us help others, which we gladly do in Jesus’ Name.
